Have an Online Sale

If you have an eBay store with items that have been on your virtual shelves forever & a day---get rid of them!

Do it now.

If you’ve been an eBay seller for any length of time, you have probably wound up with sure things that sit there….day after day…week after week…month after month & even year after year.

If this applies to you, it’s time to say goodbye to that deadbeat inventory by having a sale.

Try to remember how long each item has been there without selling.

When you start taking a long, hard look at your eBay store inventory, be honest.

Don’t keep telling yourself that the right person hasn’t come along yet who is willing to meet your price for that acid green feather boa. If you’ve been carrying that eyesore in your stock for some time & nobody has come along & snapped it up, they probably won’t.

If it's been a while, then it needs to go, two way or the other.

Take another look at your photos. Are they less than adequate? Were you having bad camera karma the day you took the pics of a quantity of those hangers-on in your eBay store? If that looks as though it might be the problem, is it worth taking the photos again?

Not at the price you’ve been asking for it, anyway.

Now, check your descriptions. Are a quantity of them bad? Are there plenty of typos, or maybe you see when proofreading after all this time that you neglected to post measurements or sizes or colors or other necessary pertinent data about the items, & that’s why they haven’t sold? If this is the case--fix the descriptions.

If you truly doubt that the item will sell any faster with new pics, don’t waste your time.

Offer free shipping. Do a Buy Two Get Two deal, or some other sort of promotion, but move that elderly, dead eBay store stock.

If none of the above mistakes apply & you have basically got a surfeit of stock that nobody seems to want, then slash those prices & get it out of there!

So, have a sale & get rid of elderly eBay store inventory!

If you don’t make that much on it, at least you’ll clear out your storage space & make room for more & hopefully better inventory. Besides that, you might be surprised how dumping a bunch of that unwanted stuff at cheap prices will boost your regular auction sales.

You don’t need it.
